Ben pulled me away from the couch, and my knitting, for a bit this weekend and we went on a little hike! We drove through the coast range to Drift Creek Trail. It was lovely! And, most importantly for our purposes, extremely dog friendly!
We hiked up to a little suspension bridge where there was a lovely view of the falls, and then down to the falls themselves on the other side.
Tucker loved it, I loved it, Ben loved it! It was a roaring success (no pun intended:) ).
Then we continued our adventure on over to the coast and had chowder and took a short walk on the beach. We had to keep it brief because Tuck had a little procedure last week and his stitches are still in and we didn’t want to risk him getting them wet (Although he is usually pretty wimpy when it comes to jumping in the ocean, he was definitely not a surfer in a previous life). All in all it was a lovely day, spontaneous, relaxing day.
Gus also enjoyed himself, and took up the task of guarding my projects for me while we were away.
