Hello all! This weekend B. and I packed up, and headed south for a few days… in a short trip I have to say, we accomplished a LOT!
We got to be there for this gorgeous little person’s blessing/dedication…. She is so beautiful and so are her parents, it was an honor to be there to see such a special day and to snuggle her. Ben’s only complaint was that he didn’t get as much snuggle time as he is used to…the lady of the hour had lots of admirers who wanted her attention….but of course that is to be expected.
We spent lots of time with family including my amazing grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins etc. Including my super talented Sosie who knits and crochets like its as easy as breathing in and out, and my creative and industrious cousin the genius behind ErikaShmerika designs….it is always fun and inspiring to spend time with this group.
And then we snuck over to Ashland for a night and stayed in one of our favorite places in the world…the second we arrived I immediately sunk into a lazy and relaxed state…
it was all reading and knitting and soaking in the natural spring water. We spent some time with the Bard thanks to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and had a lovely meal…
but mostly we just took a breath and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
I also went a little crazy taking pictures of their lovely gardens and testing out my new camera lens. 🙂
